Did u really just dump the powered concrete into the hole then add water? Does that work? How do u know proportions?

What is the dimension of the lumber used? 3×12? 2×12?

A couple layers of 6 mil poly tacked to the back of the wall and backfill. It will last at least 50 years.

At 3:21 the cap is shown screwed into the post… There is a second screw. What is that screwed into? Not the post? Looks like the rail? Must not be where the rails butt up against each other… thick rails.. No concern for drainage behind wall?

Wouldn't the wood rot over time with the water retaining back there as well?

Yeah, whatever, let me know how long before those timbers in the ground rot out and leave you with a fucking headache mess. Have fun.

Nice video. However you should take instructions from woodprix website if you want to learn how to make it easily.

Nice, simple and very economical. Used this design on my 4 metre long retaining garden bed using 150mm x 50mm H4 timber, 100mm galvanised screws and with eziflow drainage behind. Best part is you only need to use the one size timber for posts and retainers. In New Zealand I find "sleepers" are quite pricey so the merch grade timber I bought did the trick. 🤘🏾

How deep are the foundations for the posts and what size screws did you use for this? I have a similar project and I’m debating what to use? What size are your sleepers?

Would this technique work if u wanted to go higher than in the video? And just kept adding the timber and fixing it in as u go?
